Hey 420 peeps! I just wanted to say I'm extremely thankful for this site! A lot of valuable information on here, thanks!! Ok I've googled and searched this site and couldn't find a definitive answer, but I have an old mars 300 in the middle of my tent and two 2700k 23w cfls on each corner also. Now I have 2 critical cheeses that are 3 day old from poking out the top of the soil and one bag seed that's 2 weeks into seeing pistils and 4 weeks total of 12/12. Of course my pretty bag seed lady is front and center under the mars 300 and the autos are one on each side. the autos are pretty much under the cfl light, but should be under the 300 footprint as well. so will the light from the cfls throw off the led panels light wavelengths? will my seedlings still get some of the led with my cfls on or should I turn the cfls off and let the 300 do the work? I figured the more the light the better but when I put my hand down by the seedlings I can see the leds lights hit them, but when I turn the cfls on it almost looks as if it blocks out the led. i hope that made sense guys and I do appreciate you taking your time to read and maybe give some input! :Namaste:

Welcome to :420:

If you are worried that the CFL will block the led light from reaching your plants it won't the only thing with the cfls is they need to be within a couple of inches of the plant to make a difference

Thanks MadMarv! I really appreciate it! I have the cfls 1/2 inch from the leaves with a fan blowing across them. This is my first led grow and I was just baked in my tent looking down and that question just popped into my head. Ya know those baked thoughts hahah.. :thanks: :volcano-smiley:
