Leaves showing damage

Hi peeps

Having a bit of an issue with my first grow. As you can see in the pics the leaves are cracking and breaking up. Not sure what is going on.


Growing in Coco with tap water which I let it stand for 24 hrs to get rid of the chlorine. Using Flora Nova Bloom as a neutriant. 125w led Mars hydro 48 reflector series. 70 x 70 x 160 cm grow tent. PH is kept at 5.8 and the ppm no more then 500.

I noticed a couple of days ago that the leaves were showing burn tips on some leaves so I gave it a tap PH tap water flush and today aswell. But this time I used RO water ph at 5.8 in the morning. Later in the day I notices the some leaves telling a different story.

Any advise will be much appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like it could be a magnesium deficiency.

Keep an eye on it for the next day and consider adding a magnesium additive.

So you are suggesting using Cal Mag etc?
You could be right as the stems are looking purple in colour.
I thought using Tap water will not cause problems like this as it has calcium and Magnesium in it. It could be that I used RO water flush last time with out the addition of Cal Mag.
I will get some today and report back in a couple.
