I checked the leaf diagnostic chart and didn't see anything that matched

Thanks EZ, yeah I love indicas. Back in the early 80's I got a few seeds out of a bag of what my dealer called "afgany" I grew 3 plants my first year 2 female 1 male. I was expecting these big tall plants but they were only about 40" inches tall. I had no idea what I was doing or anything about different strains, there was no interwebs so Info was hard to come by. I did find a book called the primo plant things got better after that

I water her... it's hard to say cause as she gotten bigger it's shortened this last time it was 8 days I think the time before was almost 14. The light was too close for the first 2 weeks of her life, it was at 14" and it should have been 18" or even 20"

Are these leaves you posted off of the same plant you posted? I ask because those leaves look very very dark, and I would be worried it is getting too much nitrogen .... but the plant doesn't have that appearance.
I had the same question, single leaves are very dark, but the plant looks about right. The OP doesn't mention his grow media, but the media looks pretty wet. The puffy looking leaves can be a symptom of too much water (not applicable in coco/hydro based grows). In my experience the mishappen leaves often are a result of a blast of nutes to a younger plant. As mentioned, it looks like it grew out of it, so no worries.

The top pic is of the plant b4 I watered her, I cut off the 2 leaves just make it easier to water. I noticed how dark they were, they look much different under my 100 watt R spec Quantom board light. The lower pic is of her after she got watered. I suffer short memory loss so I lose trac of how old she is but I'm pretty sure she's sprouted on 11/10. She went into the big container prematurely , I suffer from epilepsy and could wind up in the hospital at any time. I figured better her in the oversized container and be able to fend for herself for a week than lose her. She a second generation purple marmalade, so it could be genetic every pic I've seen of purple marmalade looks very dark. What I used know I no longer know, what I know today I probably won't know tomorrow

/Hugs I'm sorry to hear that, it sounds pretty rough. :sorry:

So, to be clear, the whole plant IS as dark as the single leaves show in the pic? What are you feeding, are you certain there is no extra/excess nitrogen sneaking in from separate products or something?

Thanks sueet, she's in 8 gallons of Coast of Maine Stonington blend, so it could be a bit "hot" at times. I'm not sure how the slow release soils work. And I did give her a weak solution of sea bird guano after transplanted.

I'm thinking this is closer to her actual color, I think the first 2 pi s may appear darker due to the bright white background. There still dark but not as

I don't know about "crunchy" but if you are talking about those leaves which have those wrinkles near the tips I have seen that sort of stuff on some of my younger plants. Then as the plant gets older the wrinkles start to go away.

So far everything looks OK from what I can see.
