Hey peoples can anyone help me out with what is happening to my ladies? They are in week 5 of veg (strawberry cough), 5gal rocket/air pots with coco and 30% perlite. 600w hps in 1.45x1.45x 2m tent. Temperature has been around 31 degrees celsius, RH is about 60-70%. Running full strength nutes, ph is 5.8 sometimes fluctuates up to 6.5 while im at work most times I catch it, a couple times a week I dont. PPM1000.

Getting a little concerned, we have had some really hot days aswell, like 38 degrees celcius.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

It would really help to know the necessary details. There is a link down in my signature about how to ask for grow support. We don't know if this is an indoor grow or an outdoor grow and what type of grow medium you are growing in or anyting.

I water twice a day, two hours after lights on and two hours before lights out. I am also running lights during the day 5am-11pm (18/6)

Was thinking it could be a potasium deficiency? But I have more than enough nutrients. Which is leading me to believe having such a high feed schedule is leaving alot of salts behind in turn causing lockout? Could this be possible? Maybe a flush with 1/4 strength nutes is calling?

My guess would be as it's a combination of a few things. The biggest one would be the temperatures. As the temperatures go up, a plant's metabolism tends to go up as well but with it hitting a hundred degrees Fahrenheit or 36-38C, that's really warm. Is there anything you can do to bring the temperature in the grow area down some? Also, since you are feeding twice a day I would probably cut the strength back 2 about half strength for a few days and see how they respond. If they start looking better I would keep it at half strength until they're looking pretty good and then try to go up to 3/4 strength and see if you have any adverse reactions. If you are feeding twice a day at full strength it makes me suspicious that perhaps things are getting a little salty.

Ok, that's really interesting about plant metabolism increasing with warmer weather. Speaking of cooling down things just picked up this afternoon.

This should hopefully take care of most of the heat issues on those really hot days. What I wouldn't give to have a fully controlled environment, future plans just not atm. Yesterday I fed them 5L each of 1/4 strength nutrients and have just mixed up nutrients to 50% like you said. I will follow you directions and wait until they start to look healthier before increasing anything.
Thanks for donating your time and helping me through this worrying situation.:Namaste:
