One lawmaker plans to introduce a measure to allow medical marijuana dispensaries in Nevada.
State Senator Tick Segerblom says he wants to set up pot dispensaries for people with medical permits.
Even though voters have approved medical pot in Nevada, the only way they're allowed to get it now is to grow it themselves. While it may be legal to have and use the drug, it's illegal to buy it.
Under Segerblom's plan pot dispensaries for people with medical permits would be regulated by the Gaming Control Board.
The Nevada Supreme Court is expected to rule on the current medical marijuana law, which critics say leaves permit holders in legal limbo.
