I assume these are new sugar leaves and they just started appearing two weeks ago. This is my first indoor grow and in my outdoor plants this never occurred. Anything to worry about or address? Thanks.

Northern Lights I Love GM autoflower
77 degrees 45% rh
18/6 under Spyder sf 2000
Soil is matket for MJ
Water twice weekly with Ph 6.8, feed 1x/wk 20-20-20 until last week when I switched to 10-30-20 (this new growth appeared before the switch)

Hello @Tedmarx38 hope you are well my friend.
Beautiful bud. :thumb:
It looks like foxtails from being too close to your light. :Namaste:
Is it a top cola?

Thanks Bill, appreciate it. Happening on lower nodes too but mostly on the buds closest to the light. Here’s the full plant. I guess I’ll need to dim the light since it’s at the top of the tent? (Also do you have an estimate on when this should be harvested based on the two pics?) Cheers!

You have some nice colas there. :thumb:
But I don't see any fan leaves? :Namaste: She needs her fans.
I'm not judging just a couple observations, 2 cents.
The sugar leaves show signs of heat or light damage.
Is that what happened to her fans.
Some minor nutrient burn.
She looks well fed and taken care of though.
Good job.
Rule of thumb never harvest a lady with white pistols.
But foxtails are different.
You have to judge the whole plant.
Older pistols are red and crinkled in.
Buds are full and ripe.
Leaves have deteriorated to the point very little photosynthesis is occurring.
If your trics are cloudy and amber I'd say your in the window.

Stay safe

Have you done a recent flush or nute change. I get that weekly when I do my mini flush at the end of each rez just before I make up a new batch of nutes.
Just and observation!

Thanks. Yeah I had tons of problems with all aspects on this. I suspect the fan leaves disappeared because I underfed during the flowering stage, or maybe the wrong fert. Unfortunately I have no amber crystals and maybe half are cloudy. Many are still clear. But, with no photosynthesis happening is this the best they’ll get?

If your roots are healthy.
And you are feeding correct.
Your temps are good.
And your light isn't burning them.
Then absolutely you can let her keep going.
Your call my friend.
It's your baby.
Have you got a clear tric shot of a part that's not foxtailing?

Just had the exact same thing happen to a pair of Do Si Dos. Looked like they were almost through, I had the light down low, and it started puting out new calyx's. Moved the light up and within 2 weeks the new bud pistils (foxtails) were turning red. Same issue with the trics, but now I'm seeing cloudy trichs and a little amber, figuring less than 2 weeks till the habeus yankus!

Here’s the best I can do….they look milky here but under the loupe at least half seem clear. Noted the lollipop shape which if I’ve read correctly means the trich aren’t mature.

Give her a week and check again then.
Hopefully she can finish.
