A Kentucky man has been arrested in South Dakota after police found more than 78 pounds of marijuana in his sports utility vehicle.
Police say thirty-five-year old Jeffrey Layland, of Bowling Green, was was stopped for speeding.
The arresting officer says a drug dog detected pot during a perimeter searcher, and a full search revealed marijuana in the vehicle.
Layland was charged with possession of marijuana, felony possession with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphanelia.
The felony chargw carries a maximum penalty of fifteen years in prison.
