Greetings everyone and thanks for your interest. I’m a new grower that’s finally doing the one thing that I’ve been wanting to do for over 20 years. I’d tried times before but due to situations had to abort the mission.
2015: No plan to start growing but when you run across seeds from a fire ass strain you keep them.
Every year I’d think about planting a seed out in the woods and seeing if it would grow. Every year that would be around June or July which was too late. Oh well, maybe next year....
Fast forward to 5-2019: I forget what triggered it but I started researching growing indoors on YouTube. I was amazed at the info I found. The more I saw, the more I wanted to see and the more I wanted to learn. That research led me to forums like this, where I was blown away with the info I had access to, a true kid in a candy store. So, from 5-2019 to 11-2019 all I did was study and learn. Forums, videos, videos & forums, back and forth all day, every day learning learning learning.
I started to put all that I’d learned in motion on 11-3-2019. I started in a 10x20 garage and began constructing an 8x8 sealed/insulated/CO2 enriched grow room. For 3 months I’d work on my off days initially, but that turned into off days AND after work until 2&3am, sleeping 3-4hrs and back up for work. I’m no carpenter, I’m no plumber nor am I an electrician, but every piece of wood erected, every screw driven, every pipe fitted and every outlet ran was by my hands and my hands only. Amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it.
1-25-2020: Remember those seeds I’d been collecting? Let’s try the the Fire OG for starters in a 4 site rdwc. I should order fems now that I know about them but hell I have hundreds saved up why not run them. I’ll try soil next to see if the quality/taste is really better.
3-2020:
Let’s build a second room 4x3 to cut the wait after harvest
While I’ve been learning more and more and waiting on these I’m currently running to mature, I’ve built a second sealed room 4x3 that I’m vegging in for my next run. I ordered fems and made about 130 gal of subcool supersoil and will run 3x Gorilla Cookies & 3x Jack Herer that I’m seriously considering using scrog method.
3-2020 (Guerilla Grow)
In the order of seeds I grabbed a few Wild Thai Landrace seeds. These are 100% Sativa and will be in supersoil.
I wanted to make this as easy as possible and keep me away from the sites for as long as possible. I’ve chosen 3 different locations where I will transplant 4-5 Thai plants that I am currently vegging. I will up pot into supersoil and once ready they’ll go to there final homes filled with 30 gal of supersoil.

I’m now in the process of combining the two rooms making them flower rooms and building a 3x3 for veg. It feels good to be where I am in growing. I look back a year ago and my only regret is not learning sooner.
Thanks for all the help that I’ve received directly & indirectly, one day when I’m sure about what I know I’ll be able to pass the knowledge also.
