Headed that way on vacation in two weeks. Them girls better hurry up and start getting that fruit done. I see the temps are starting to drop a lot. Nice pics....

They are flowering now with a nice 6 weeks of heat coming in, starting Tuesday, will be in the low eighties for the foreseeable future. But smaller girls are flowering heavy, I think that is a bit strange but lets see how we finish up.

With the cooler temps at night you might have some good color to that fruit. Good luck and I will keep an eye on their growth. Keep us updated brother... Thanks.

Here is the way the previous pictured plants flowered in just less than a month, they grew some fast and hard flowers. A total of 48 oz of wet flowers came off the two plants pictured here.

The two plants were trimmed heavy when planted then trimmed to near death by deer early in the season. They only grew to about 4-5 foot tall but are bushes, very nice. As far as the strain, this year I purchased seeds from over sea's. But these two are part of my control group to measure premium seeds against what I have been growing for years. The seeds started as bag seeds about 8 years ago but I have allowed a patch to become seedy for my stock seeds yearly and so the same plant for many generations. This strain what ever it is, produced about 5 monster plants, others remained smaller but did produce also. I am not done yet with harvest but will be in the near future. Now I am saddened that they can not stay out for another month but combines rule. The plants only received nutrients from what the farmer placed, I only checked on the plants a total of 4 times, plant, sex, twice and remove. Carried no water or food. So sometimes treating the plants like a black sheep can work also. Let me tell you my strain produced heavier yields than the premium seeds, time will tell on the quality, but it is looking very premium also.

I lived in Michigan for a year ... almost killed this California boy - - I am just not used to winters in the negative numbers ...
But, I used to see this kind of grows all the time. We called it "ditch weed".

Well the season is long over, everything cured and put away. I purchased several kinds of seeds from several seedbanks last year. This was the first time not growing all "ditch weed". I bought cheap, mid priced and high priced seeds from various suppliers. I used ditch weed seeds also that were my test plots, I have been growing these seeds for more years than I care to speak to. All started indoors and planted outdoors in many dirt environments outdoors, I am no pro. The very cheap seeds were worthless and spend a little more. The high priced seed plants were very temperamental and mainly died off during the year in the corn, to wet, to dry they just could not take it, a mainly sativa hybrid, don't buy them again. The mid priced seeds did nice with nice buds although the volume was not what I wanted. So now I am back cruising on here again. I was going to post a new thread on what you have grown in the Midwest corn fields that turned out great, but I figured out it is a crap shoot. So for 2016 I am going to go heavy with Royal Queen Seeds, Special Kush for 60% of next years grow, Then 20% of a new strain to me, Big Bud by Victory Seed. My last 20% will be a colorful plant. I have it in my wish list but cannot think of the name right now. I will order seeds in several orders to limit my troubles, at least that is what I did last year. I am just trying to find the perfect seed, I start them and set them out, I am going to fertilize them this year, something I have never done in the past. I do not water them other than rain. I have used "The Original Sensible Seed Company" I have used them in the past and everything was perfect. Bitcoins also, taught a old dog a new trick.
