Hello 420 family, and welcome to my new journal. :ciao:

First of all I'd like to thank @Randar for giving me the XS1500 PRO.
Next, I'd like to thank @Trala for helping with the logistics, and the Auto seeds.
And last but not least, I'd like to thank @ViparSpectra for coming to the party.

Now that the shoutouts are done, let's get down to business.

As some of you may know, I lost everything in a devastating flood a few months ago.
This is my first grow since then.

The tent is 1mtr X 1mtr X 2mtrs (3.3 X 3.3 X 6 feet), and is white instead of the usual silver. Apparently white reflects the light better.

The light is an XS1500 PRO from Viparspectra.

The substrate is 'organic' soil.

The container is an air pot, 38ltrs or 10 gallon.

Good luck with your grow ,give ya pooch a pat from me ,I love dogs 😊

Soil...
I put a bit of soil in the bottom of the pot, and mixed in a few cups of worm castings. Then I added some mycorrhizae to the mix and stirred it up. My reasoning behind this is so once the plants roots reach the bottom of the pot it'll get a boost from the worm castings etc. Then I filled the pot the rest of the way with the potting mix.

Thank you for add us, we are in! :high-five:

Right now is the most important, most nerve wracking, and most boring part... Waiting for the seed to sprout.
It's still cold here since it's our winter, and I'm worried about the soil temperature for germination, so I bought a seedling heat mat to keep everything warm.
I put it underneath the spill tray so there's no way it can get wet.

Wookie Wookie Wookie...
She's alive!!!
I honestly didn't expect her to show up for a few more days at least.
I'm putting it down to great genetics, and the seedling mat.
The light is at 25%, giving approximately 350ppfd at a distance of 32cm.
Might be a bit much at this stage, but I want to keep her short and squat.
