Raspberry Parfait - Grow Day 56/Flower Day 20
Pineapple Upside Down Cake - Grow Day 47/Flower Day 12

RP is doing her thing. Rarely have I grown a plant as healthy and happy as this one is. Once again, BRAVO @GeoFlora Nutrients. This plant is simply loving what you guys created. She's starting to throw some frost and get on her stick a little bit. Her color is perfect. There's nothing not to love about where this girl is at.

The PUC, as of today, is showing buds for the first time! Took 12 days of stretch for her. She'll stretch a bit more yet, but obviously a more bushy and not as tall a plant as the RP. Her Christmas tree shape is perfect, and she has a lot of lower side branching. She is also simply loving the nutes. Not even the slightest blemish, even the cotyledons are still green for god's sake. Amazing performance so far.

Here's some early budding porn:

Nighttime Temps and Such

Tonight it goes down to 59 degrees overnight. That's enough that the plants will be fine but also low enough that we may get ourselves some color going on. Psyched, didn't think these overnight temps would roll in so soon. Three times this week we'll be upper 50s overnight. I didn't expect this and the timing with the autos relative to their budding is perfect to see what colors they have in them. Overnight temps are now 58-65, which is exactly the temps I use in tent grows to get color from my girls. Works out sweetly.

This is a picture of the only open area into the auto rig after sundown, as it's neighbor/light proofed to the extreme with cardboard and blankets. The plants get heat from the 420h and the two blurples. They will love these temps.

The picture? Lmao.

Outdoor plants are looking great Jon and the pistil production on the autos is looking on point!

Oh, and after feeding that bird, I think it's going to be a constant visitor from heron in. :)

I'm a finger-trencher too! :high-five:
Loves me a good pun, Shed! Nice!

Morning Wake Up in the Mars Hydro Indoor/Outdoor Rig

Thought you guys might get a kick out of my outdoor morning routine. I do this every day. Then I have to hose off my wheels and dry them so I don't track crap in the house. The entire process takes about half an hour. The photos get dragged about 50 yards from their sleep spot to here, and the outdoor autos simply go from the rig to where you see them. That spot gets great sun till about 2 pm, at which point all those outdoor plants get dragged/carried to the opposite side of the backyard where the sun is by then. Then at around 5 the photos go back to their sleep spot and the autos and photo still vegging go back into the rig to complete their 20 hours of light a day. It's a gas, man. Lol. Ah, the things we do for our medicine.

Grow Day 49
Flower Day 14

Beautiful plant. Lightish green compared to the Raspberry Parfait. Bushier at the bottom, more of a true Christmas tree shape. Tons of lower branching all around. VERY healthy plant, LOVING the @GeoFlora Nutrients . Next hit of Bloom nutes on 11/15. Starting to make actual little buds. Yay.

Here's three pics of her. I gotta figure out why my camera keeps making these smaller pictures.

Feeding Day
Day 58

Today the autos got their final non organic bud boost to take us home the last few weeks of flower. We should be getting fairly close. Three weeks-ish.

Here's what I gave them today, I call it a carb platter.

- 1 tbsp. Molasses
- 1 tbsp. Terpinator
- 1/4 tsp. Cha Ching
- 1 tsp Cal Mag (this was mostly for the Gelato)
- 1 tbsp. Big Bloom
- 4 ml. Canna Boost

That's per gallon. Each plant got a gallon today.

Clean water the rest of the way plus carbs only. We'll keep molasses and Terpinator in the mix, that's all.

Here's some pics:

1 - 4: Strawberry Banana 3 bud shots and whole plant (this is the back right plant)
5: SB 2 bud shot (this is the front right plant)
6 - 7: Gelato bud shots (note that her buds are forming rounder on top than the SBs, and they're arguably denser)

Tuesday Photo Special

Here's a shot of the top of the Raspberry Parfait, just moved to her early afternoon spot along with all the other outdoor plants. It puts them next to the outcropping designed for an outdoor grill, which we don't have. The wall you see leading up to the plant, and which my phone is sitting on, is the top of this outcropping. This is what you see (close up) from a distance over top of this outcropping or my windscreening from the other angle. I thought it was a pretty cool picture. Enjoy. Oh yeah - it seems she thinks it's Sunday and she obviously has some sins to confess, cuz this girl is praying HARD to the sun. I haven't seen this pray angle yet on an outdoor plant. Nutso. I'm assuming she's happy.

Afternoon top shot of RP.jpg

Our intrepid Gelato, aka Michael, needed a little support!

I had noticed in watering this morning that the Gelato was beginning to fall over to the heavier side of the plant from it's own weight. The buds are getting fatter and denser seemingly daily, and she was the most trained plant, ie, the one with the least "support shaped" stem. The others have a nice solid straight base, this plant got trained from little and pulled over and she has always logged to that side anyway. Then just by chance that side becomes the heaviest side of the plant with the biggest buds massed together on one side. Lol. I could have worse problems. But if I didn't attend to it the plant would definitely end up laying down on that side. So attend to it I did, and once again had to get creative.

This is a picture of the support for the Gelato, and how the plant looks now that she's all up high and standing tall and sweet. I have owned that support piece since I was 14 years old and my stepdad, who worked and traveled for DuPont at the time, brought it and others home from South Africa. They are the masks which guard my Mars Hydro rig you have seen in the pictures. This one was exactly the right shape and width and circumference to do the job in five seconds. We like easy. We also like things that look cool. I think this looks cool.

Heh.

Strawberry Banana Fast Flowering Photo on the Mend

So left to right in the picture we have:

Gorilla Zkittlez, Dos-Si-Dos 1, DSD 2, DSD 3 and our Strawberry Banana Fast Flowering Photo. The GZ and DSD 1, the two plants on the left side, are both in Sohum soil. The other two autos are in Fox Farms with @GeoFlora Nutrients. But the other two on Geo just got switched about a week ago. The Geo is beginning to work it's magic, but you can clearly see the two Sohum plants are outgrowing the two Fox Farms plants so far.

The Strawberry Banana is looking better since she got flushed and switched to Geo Nutes. Again, the microbes are beginning to work their magic. Her new growth is now the right color and we are losing the leaf curl (clawing). I think the Ocean Forest was simply too nitrogen rich for this girl, but it appears she's going to be okay. No more spots on new growth, no more advancing spots on the older fan leaves. Standing up a lot straighter too.

Here you go.

Knocking it out of the park as usual Jon! Go Sunshine!
Thanks Otter! It's going pretty well so far. Never tried to manage so many plants at one time before - 18 all told right now. It's a lot of work. But for my last harvest in this state I think it's fair to say I'll have a bit of bud, and bit of variety at that. I have fruity strains out the wazoo, between the RaspberryP, the Pineapple UC, the StrawberryB, the Dos-Si-Dos, Strawberry Lemonade, and Blueberry (those are all the outdoor photos). It's going to begin to stink the block up pretty soon, can't wait to see how that goes. You can literally smell raspberry on the Raspberry Parfait. Much like to the extent that Blueberry smells like actual blueberries (it really does, if you ever grew it) - significant and obvious and definitively raspberry, nothing else. I'm shocked. Humboldt has a whole video on the website about the strain, and the point they harp on is how strong the terpenes are, how much they smell like raspberries, and how long they last. I've had very very good success with their genetics.

The funny/not funny part is, if my assessment of timing is even close, the tent photos, the NextLight autos, and the Raspberry Parfait/Pineapple UDC are all going to harvest relatively close together, like many in the same week. DAMN. I'm going to be a busy boy, but I bet I get through it. Lol. Gracias for the kind words.

This is Cool....

So I went ahead and started the process of popping one more photoperiod plant to add to the grow. I also went ahead and spent $120 for every ingredient in the orange part of the Fox Farms feed chart. As of Tuesday I will have every single ingredient in adequate volume of the FF feed chart, the green, the orange and the purple parts. I intend to grow this last photo in a pure Fox Farms grow, using every ingredient in the chart exactly as prescribed, and using only Happy Frog Fox Farms soil with perlite #3. Even the foliar feeding and Sledgehammer flushes. Everything. This should show me for the first time what the true power of the Fox Farms nute line is. It will be the first time I used the entire system as intended. I'll betcha I'm safe saying @Emilya is gonna LOVE this. She's the one who has educated me on this line a ton and has said more than once that the power is unleashed when the system is used as a whole, and as intended.

Oh, the plant?

Chocolope. DNA Genetics. Here's what DNA Genetics says about their strain:

DNA Genetics Chocolope is a novice grower's dream plant! With a uniquely heavy yield and large heavy nugs, the Chocolope is extremely easy to grow. This Sativa heavy plant likes to grow tall so beware if space is an issue, however she can grow out with a little training. We chose to cross our Original Chocolate Thai female with the Cannalope male, and then started backcrossing this to achieve a shorter flower time and still retain some of the Original Chocolate Thai qualities. What makes these cannabis seeds so special is that when you enjoy her you taste that chocolate you've been missing from the 80's! The DNA Genetics Chocolope is the "ONE"!

Here's what AllBud has to say about the strain:

Sativa Dominant Hybrid - 95% Sativa / 5% Indica

Chocolope is one of the most fascinating products of the marijuana industry. The strain comprises of 95% Sativa, 5% Indica and a high concentration of THC, which makes it a high potency strain. It offers a smoky, chocolaty flavor that has an enticing effect on the smoker. Chocolope is a great strain for anybody who is looking for an anxiety reliever and appetite enhancer. With its sweet enticing aroma, the strain offers a sour treat for your senses. Generally, Chocolope does not offer any side effects which would harm the health of a smoker. However, people who are sensitive to psychedaelic or paranoia effects might need to exercise caution while using this strain. It is recommended that you consult with a specialist before taking Chocolope, especially if you are a beginner smoker. The strain has shown improvements in asthma patients and is well-known for reducing nervousness in individuals. Many asthma patients have reported positive results of using Chocolope. Beginner smokers should not take large amounts of Chocolopeat the start; the strain can get you stoned. So, if you are looking for something to get really high, then Chocolope is for you. Many smokers have called this strain a blasting, euphoric experience that can make you forget everything. This is what makes Chocolope perfect for parties.

Here's what it looks like:
dna-genetics-chocolope.jpg

Here's what it actually is:

OG Chocolate Thai x Cannalope Haze
95% Sativa | 5% Indica
Flowering: 8-9+ Weeks
THC: 21+%

Note the 95% sativa. That's a lot of sativa. Lol. Can't wait to grow this multiple Cup winning strain outside. We'll start her in a one and bump her up to a seven then toss her in the yard with the others. Heh.

Never ever smoked or even seen this strain, anywhere - no dispensaries, nothing. Very psyched. Hope the seed pops well. She soaked overnight in water and mycorrhizae, and was on the bottom of the shot glass this morning (I know, people say that doesn't matter, I still prefer it...). She's in paper towels now. The soil and perlite and GeoPots are here.

Let's go, baby!!! Pop for me!

I do indeed love this! I have never done what you are doing, but I have seen others that have and at the end of the process they didn't regret spending all that money. It does all make for a little more cost per ounce, but if the quality ends up being off the chart, I would be ok with that.
