I'd go with the 5 Johnny. More roots = more shoots. As long as you have headroom.Wet betty, Molten Lava, and the biggest and droopy White linen got feed this morning. 6.5 350ppm: recharge, nutes, cal/mag, terpinator.
Noticed the roots on wet betty are huge i need to get her and molten lava in a 5 gallon soon but not sure if its the right time yet they look like they can sit in the 3g for a while. Got 3 more 45lb bags of happy frog and am brewing another batch of soil up tonight. Whats everyones thoughts on keeping in 3g pots vs tranplating into 5 with betty and lava? @stoneotter @Pennywise @JimJonesJr @Preston9mm
Sounds good stone! Ill try to get these in the next feed. Do you think its ok to transplant on the water cycle? I just feed both so undecided on waiting till next feed vs waterI'd go with the 5 Johnny. More roots = more shoots. As long as you have headroom.
Cool, thanks penny! ill wait till they dry off a litte before so no over water occursI agree, up pot to 5 gallon. You can transplant with damp soil no problem.
I'd wondered if they may be pot bound but I couldn't remember how long they'd been in those pots. Both show signs of it but ya can't really tell until you pull them. I look forward to seeing some pics. We love pics ya know...lolGoing to try and repot betty and lava tonight if not tomorrow. Dosipunch and the smallest white linen got a good feed at 6.5 and finished off yesterdays feed mix. Going to wait one more day for the last linen.
so it seems all the regular seeds are females so im pretty happy with that but time will tell white linen should prob start showing more next week or two
We are going to make sure we get nice pics this transplant! Totally agree, I think its time for them to get more room and enjoy life plus I topped them both so we should move while we can. Really excited to see the roots on these girlsI'd wondered if they may be pot bound but I couldn't remember how long they'd been in those pots. Both show signs of it but ya can't really tell until you pull them. I look forward to seeing some pics. We love pics ya know...lol
Im going to definitely try to get some clones running, got humidity domes ready. When do you think is a good time to start trying to kick those off Jim? Yes it is definitely not easy to manage having all different strains now that im balls deep lmao but i hit betty and lava with 6.5 water with recharge right now they should be fine for a day or two. By the look of the soil at the top it could use the water so it all worked outThat went well. It doesn't look root bound but a repot can't hurt. Remember you just added new soil so don't throw full strength nutes at them right away. Give them a few days and see how they respond. You plants are looking great in there.
Growing all those different strains is hard. Especially for a new grower. I know how exciting it is to have different strains but ya can run into difficulties as your finding in some cases.
If I were you I'd clone two of the best plant strains and run them alone for the next grow. That way you'll know what expect out of the plant needs.
Just a thought.
