Jiffy puck and roots

First time cloning and I am getting roots out of the jiffy pucks and am wondering if it's ok for the light to be hitting the exposed roots? Roots just started to appear yesterday

They should be covered, stick em in a cup or something if yer not ready to plant them

What's yer plans with it

Plan to plant them in 4.5" pot once I see some new growth on them

Light will "light" prune em.... won't really hurt but I'd get that into a medium myself.

Even though no new growth yet? The plants started to yellow 2 days ago and last night/today roots are popping

Roots mean it's growing

Plant it, it's ready

Id take a pic of the whole thing to confirm,, but if it's pushing out roots it's ready.

I'd get them in a medium. The tops aren't important as thick roots pushing out of the peat puck.
