A "father-son team" accused in December of turning their Jefferson home into a marijuana production facility were indicted today in the case.

A grand jury in Superior Court in Morristown handed up an indictment charging Aaron Wolfe and his son, Andrew Wolfe, with first-degree maintaining a marijuana production facility and other drug charges.

The two were arrested Dec. 10, when police confiscated 28 marijuana plants, many more than 5 feet tall, police had said. At the time of their arrests, Aaron was 43 years old and Andrew was 18.

They had recently moved into the neighborhood and worked together to grow marijuana and distribute it throughout the township, police said. Authorities were tipped off because of the quality and quantity that Andrew was allegedly selling, police said.

Aaron Wolfe had worked at a landscaping company specializing in fertilizer and had become quite adept at growing the drug, police said.

The plants were on the second floor of the home, where seedlings were found in one bedroom and mature plants, scales and bags were in another bedroom, police said.

They also each were indicted on charges of second-degree possession with intent to distribute between 10 and 50 marijuana plants; second-degree conspiracy to possess drugs with intent to distribute; third-degree possession of 1 ounce or more of drugs with intent to distribute; third-degree possession of oxycodone; and fourth degree possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana.
