My first time posting a grow journal, and I look forward to the interactions and learning as I go. I am growing in a deep water culture set-up, a 4x4 tent containing four 5gal buckets. Temp in the tent is mid to low seventies while the humidity is a little low due to winter approaching; however, the humidity reading is from the air in the mid tent, so I am not really concerned as the girls are low to the grow media which is wet; I will, however, research a humidifier for use as they grow. All are autos, Gorilla Cookies, Sunrise Sherbert, Afgan Kush, and Grandaddy Purple; the GP is struggling to get going with the primary leaves stalling out so far. The other three are thriving and, 4 days after transplant, are pushing a second set of primaries. The beginning stages are the times that keep me on edge as the girls are seemingly vulnerable to conditions in their environment and so little. Four strains at once seemed like a gamble to me at first, with the potential for 4 different sets of issues arising. However, it is my habit to spend time with the girls so that the identification of a problem will be recognized and dealt with early. Anyway, here goes, and may the force be with us.

@Bill284 I am using an off-brand (the best I could afford at the time) 320w max LED, which worked great on my last grow. However, I am planning an upgrade. Do you have any suggestions for a 4x4? I know I am tapping this light out and would like to get better coverage from fewer watts.

Best light I’ve ever used in a grow room is the vsf650 by @VIVOSUN
It’ll do up to 5x5 which is the size of my flower room.
I add co2 aswell but before that I was more than thrilled with the results.
Excellent solid nugs.
Otherwise I’ve used @ViparSpectra lights with great success aswell.
Great lights and excellent prices.

Stay safe
