My 600 watt kit is finally here!! I've only been waiting six days but it felt like forever.

I was shocked at how big the cool tube is too. That's good tho'.

I got
a 600 watt ballast
a 6 inch cool tube
obviously the light fixture
a MH bulb
A MHS bulb
cheap wing reflectors that are getting replaced before flower
a timer I don't need but it's good to have an extra
and 2 rope ratchets

All for under 200 bucks shipping included.

Hopefully my babies love it! They looked a much deeper green under the florescent. They look more olive green under the MS bulb. I hope that's common.

Anyway, I had to share. I couldn't contain my excitement!

Yes it is. The light spectrum you are now under is a lot different than the fluorescence so colors are reflected differently. Think of it as painting with neons then switching to pastels

Thanks. Now that I'm used to it they don't look as olive green. I think it was just the drastic change in hues that made me think they were browner then they really are. I LOVE THIS LIGHT. Jeesh, I could probably see it a few blocks away if I left the window open.
