I'm just curious as to if this is okay:healthy? The leaves on my plant are slanted I'm just wanting to make sure it's all okay???

By "slanted" do you mean pointing up toward the light?
If so, then YES! That's exactly what you want to see. Plants with problems and/or too much water will droop downward.
CFL's put most of their light out from the sides. If you are able to change the fixture so the bulbs are more horizontal, the plant will get more light.

When plants do that, I call it singing. If the plants are singing, they must be happy.
What PITA says is correct. At a glance I'd say you are losing upwards of 30% in light penetration.
