is this light good for 4 plants?

I had recently got this light from my sister who got it from a friend who's a grower . didn't have much details other than its a 400watt hps or somthing like that . Im getting the reflective hood and all that for the bulb from a friend and just want to know if its good enough for my 4 plants which are about a month old .

This is my first grow and don't really have experience and this light is huge! i use cfl so a big change

Do you see any writing on the bulb, maybe right on the tip? If so what does it say? And generally speaking- yes it should be fine for your 4 plants. It will cover an lit area of about 3'x3' to max 4'x4' efficiently, if it's 400w. So grow your plants to whatever size will fit well in your space based on that
