Is this Female Preflowers?

Howdy all

Im just over 3 and a half weeks into my first grow, I have 3 big buds coming along quite nicely and I have just noticed one has got some preflowers

right from the start I thought this one was male because its taller and the internode length was bigger than the other two and because it preflowered first.
but looking at the preflowers they are pointy and dont seem to have a stem yet so to my untrained eye it looks female. I have been using a 30x eye loupe to get a good look.

see what you guys think. this was the best photo of about 10..... if its not good enough ill try again.

Hey Wrath, little hard to tell, keep your eyes peeled for little balls. when they begin to open they look like little bananas. Balls and bud = Hermie . If you see two little hairs coming out and no balls its female. Give it a few more days then you will know for sure. Probably just more bud on the way. No tiny things that look like frizzy yarn coming out? Preflower looks like a green lobster claw? First plant (out of the same strain) to show? Paint the nursery blue, lol.

Of course if it's too small to tell, it's too small to tell. If you can't, don't worry. It takes a little while for the flowers to mature and open. Keep checking.
