Not for sure how to really tell tell when shes ready without an optical zoom of some sort, just by looking at her hairs and such, do you suggest shes ready to be chopped down?

her hairs seems 50 milky and 50 amber, so i dunno, she looks ready when i look at her, but i am unsure and would like some experienced growers opinions.

Ok thanks everyone for their input. I'm going today to get some sort of magnifying glass or a high powered loupe. Hopefully i can find one!

50/50 amber hairs seems a little early to me. Since I can't see the difference between clear and cloudy trics with these old eyes, I went with 100% amber hairs and the smoke with my OG Kush (75% Sativa) was part head high and part body high.

It's going to be what you like, and how familiar you are with the strain you are growing. Experience and taste-testing will be your guide.

The flavor of your sample bud is not going to be even close to what you get after cure. Seeing that your leaves are turning yellow way up on the top of the colas, She has givin the buds about all she has. If you harvest now you will get more of a trippy high. Wait a week and you'll get more of a head and body stone. I always like the laughy trippy highs but everyone is different. Great job on the Widow. It's my favorite strain.

Beautiful plant.
It seems a bit early. But the best answer you'll ever get will be from harvesting the plant in stages. You'll get all the bud- just not right away. And you'll have some variety to choose from.

WW has an 11-12 week run time, trichs look slightly clear, not cloudy or amber, how long has she been in? You could choose a "dutch pull" which means pulling it at light to milky white and achieve a slightly different high, hairs are a little on the lighter side...real question is how long has she been in flower, let it go the distance. Nice plant if it's the biggie I saw below.
