Is my tent big enough?

I recently purchased a 24" x 48" x 60 tent when I realized my first tent (24 x 24 x 48) wasn't big enough for two plants I was growing (Dark Angel strain).

Now, I wonder if I could fit three plants in this tent. The photo shows my two right now. They're in their eleventh week and are blooming. It would be the same strain so, in theory, the third plant would be about the same size.

If the answer is no to the third plant, what about using larger pots for the next two? I currently use three gallon cloth pots. Would I get better yield by using five gallon pots? Are there any advantages to larger pots. Dark Angel is not a strain that grows big (about a meter in height).

I'd go with the bigger pots and veg them a bit longer so they fill in all the way. Three would be too much unless you trained them heavily and kept them on the small side. I think you have potential for a better crop with the two bigger plants. Just my .02

I've currently got a 2'x2' tent for veg, and a 3'x3' for flowering. These sizes I should probably only be running 1 plant per tent, but I'm currently running 4. I get about 1-2 ounces per plant, which is usually enough for me, and it gives me some variety.

Doc, you should look into quadlining those plants for a hell of a good yield. Do a search for the quadlining community thread. It's an awesome way to get a nice yield with few plants.

Get 2 and veg for 70 days in 5 gallons. Top and use LST.

See doc? 2 plants in 15 gal pots vegged till they get large. It's the way to go. Also, you might try quadlining them. That's a yield booster too.

What is that small plastic container just above the floor fan?

Is the cord you'reusing elastic? Or is it just twine (or similar rope)?
