Is Mother Earth coco peat water only?

I can not find anything on this Mother Earth coco peat mix. Not one review nor any information on use. Just a loosely worded bag or posting from a hydro shop.
Can someone please tell me if Mother Earth coco peat mix is a water only blend or do you have to add nutrients?

Even in soil, where there are nutrients, depending on the size of the container, the plant will use them up and you'll want to add nutrients. That being said, that mix is only coco and perlite. There are NO nutrients. You can start seeds and clones in that mix without nutrients, but you'll want to start adding nutrients at 1/4 strength when the plants have three full sets of leaves.

Thank you for the answer! I knew I would get an answer here

i just bought a bag and posted about it.
what ph do i use?
im using canna nutrients.
i bought this bag from my local vt grow shop.
the hydro shop guys are straight bullshitters not even worth asking them anything
I just use ph 5.8 water for the first week my runoff was 1700 ppm so i adjusted my feeding for week 2. Week 3 I flipped to flower and they look amazing.
I couldnt find anyone with any answers myself kind of frustrating.

so im gonna water it like a hydroponic watering.
pretty sure its the same thing as canna terra pro plus.
ph start of veg 5.8
start of flower 6.0
end of flower 6.2
canna says this balances out the ph swings i guess. i been watering end of flower around 6.1 and i start veg at 5.7 and its been working pretty good. been able to get some decent normal looking plants now haha

yeah, its like cocoloco, ( coco/peat/perlit)

5.8 i water with, but didnt know about the 6.2 in flower. I usually get problems about mid flower, now i add more mag, and drop the calcium. look better now, but we'll see. PPM is around 2000 out the bag also. doesnt seem to harm seedlings at all tho. Mix cinnamon in your mix before planting to kill gnat eggs, wont see them again. stuff is amazing if you ask me, havent seen a single one since do this.

sposed to raise the ph a bit. the plants eat less in late flower so you raise the ph slightly. in veg you want the ph lower 5.8.

this last round going i finally got a no problems plant and i followed this ph.

early veg 5.7ish
mid veg 5.8ish
late veg 5.9ish
begin of flower to the stretch 5.9
then the next few weeks at 6.0
then during the final 5-6+ weeks i ph 6.1-6.2ish

the plant i have now is probably size:bud ratio bigger than the 10gallon smart pot plant i just grew in the same medium. i had alot of problems with.

i made sure to be dilligent with what the ph going in was, didnt give a F about runoff anythjng (dude i even bought ph strips last grow to semi check every bit of ph runoff), and followed a water every two day schedule at those phs above and i was able to get through to almost finished with absolutely no problems with the plant.

Bingo mate. That's exactly how it's done.
The pH swing is to do with root secretions. Makes the pH go up in veg then down in bloom, if the feed strength is right. Too strong a dose and it will reverse the direction of the swing.
Because you're ph'ing it correctly and feeding at a reasonable strength you stay in range so have no need to check run off.
Always worth checking for noobs though due to the reversal when feeding too strong. Something that many people don't realise or simply overlook.

Heck man, thats great info. I will follow suit for sure. Now, my thing is, i dont veg, i 12/12 from seed. and start at 5.8PH, and i use MegaCrop nutes, but dont have problems till, hummmm, like about week 3 flower. just gave them epsom yesterday for the first time, so i will see how they reacted off that. but will raise the PH to 6.1 and see what happens,

Thanks

plant onright is 55 days from seed, 28 days in flower, and leafs just starting to show mag problems, plants on left are 37 days from seed, 16 days flower,

edit, today i pulled those defoliated out and tossed them, not worth the room, and they stunted their progress almost completely, not worth it at this point, but did prove, my strain hates defoliation. Now i have room for my 2 Cherry wine CBDs anyways, only 2 , so fingers crossed they are female. If not im going to start some Charlettes Sauce CBD, which is 19% CBD, far better then the cherry wine at 13% or some.
