that smokin weed makes your hair grow faster?

My friend told me this.. don't know if it's true or not so I thought I'd ask you all.
I would definitely believe it... my hair used to grow hellllla slow but then I started smokin the reefer and its like "waaa woooosh I'm gonna grow all fast and make you go get your hair cut every 5 seconds biiiiatch!"
Or it could just be a coincidence.
