Is it Really Necessary?

So after reading on here and watching grow journals and everything. It appears that using nutes should be a science, yes? Well i've been watching the way some people do it, (first hand), and they just kinda pour in their nutes into the bucket that has a mixer in it and connected to a tube.. blah blah.. all that stuff.

So my question is, should i throw a suggestion their way about measuring their nutrients out, and making sure its exact. Or should i just let them continue without saying anything. I'm curious because when i start i'd like to provide the best i can and I'd like to kind of hear a debate on how anyone feels about this, to allow me to gain even more knowledge.

not looking for a debate.but what medium are you refering to. soil,enriched soil,soil less, hydro, or what? im pretty new to the game but i can smell a set up from a mile away. when i say setup it means your question was not specific. i only hope the pro's will back me up on this one
 
Fox Farm potting soil, i cant remember the brand of the white little styrofoam lookin things. I'm just learning. I've watched for 3 harvests now.

Yeah thats what he told me.. that he just knows how much to put in there by eye balling it. But it seemed to me that you should be more exact with measurements. Like i said I'm just trying to gain as much knowledge as i can.
 
well thats not the same thing is it? blah blah blah. all that stuff. just kidding. but how can you be so all knowing? really?
 
sorry i suffer from mental problems and realize what i have said. there was no reason for my comments.this is a great site. should have kept my mouth shut.
