Is a ec meter worth having?

so is a ec meter worth having for a hydro system? just thinking about just getting a ph meter. or if its worth having does anyone know of a cheap ph and ec combo

Yes. IMO.

U can certainly grow without it. (I do) but between knowing ur ppm/tds/ec and ur Ph u can track how he plant is eating and adjust accordingly helping ensure full potential. Poms lowering Ph rising? Add nutes. Vice versa add water. Etc. So no not critical but it eliminates guess work

looks like ill buy it then lol. been reading that alot off ppl dont really use them, i guess you gotta be a pro tho lol
