Hi Shed.
What can you tell me about IIP? Who is the breeder??
Sun Grown Genetics . net is the breeder, and it's listed as Acai Berry Gelato x Purple Punch. Next time my wife smokes it I'll see if I can get anything specific for you ;).

Thanks I heard some interesting things about it recently. And I tried to look it up. Now I know why I was having trouble.

It's good enough that a buddy has said it has replaced his old favorite: GG#4!

Here is the Wednesday update, the first of 2020!

Being calendar day 1 seemed like a good time to do the transplanting of the winter grow babies, so before our traditional NYD hike, I got down to business:

I use the inverted sand castle method and sprinkle Mykos in the hole and along the sides of the rootball before it goes in. Spraying the medium with water makes the Mykos stick. (I got that tip from @Amy Gardner.)

I had to cut the bottom of the clear cup to get these out intact (PSK):

The smaller Golden Tiger (GT1) didn't really have enough roots to move it, but I wanted to get them all done in a single go. As I dropped the rootball into the 1 gallon pot, the bottom half broke free. I have no idea if the roots ripped or just slid through, but we'll see how it looks on Thursday.

Here they all are in their 1 gallon homes:

They got around 3g/gallon Mega Crop and will be moved to 4g next watering. I'm thinking 7 gallon final homes for the winning three, as the 5 gallon Candida ended up root bound. Though these won't be vegging that long. Time will tell.

It was a great day for a hike, and since we went to the same place as last new year's day, I won't post pics (only the dog was different, and she had a great time!). We had a pretty sunset to end the first day of 2020:

Speaking of ending 2019, I ground up a small amount of DDA to bring to the NYE party. It was well enjoyed, and folks were annoyed that I didn't bring more. I wish they made a photo version of it!

That's what I've got for the day. I hope your new year is off to a good start! :surf:

Cool stuff shed

I actually so the same thing with transplanting . However I also now take the mycros I have once and awhile and sprinkle on top of my medium so when I water it goes in down that way for bit of boost to help roots I always tell myself .

Anyways happy new years again bud .

Well not new years .. you think my grow is going okay ..nice sometimes I say what the fack am I doing lol

Cheers buddy

Good work on the transplant some are slower than others with root buildups but they always get through it, we had that same sky here in Sweden yesterday. Hope its a good sign of what to come in 2020.

That weed sure looks like some dark matter weed, great they liked it and there is always too little of the good stuff around... ;)

Happy new year Shed! Here's a poem about a man and his shed I found for you....

A mans’ gotta have a shed y’know
A place he calls his own
Where he can go and loose himself
Like a king upon his throne

It can be neat and tidy
With everything in place
Or one un –wholly bloody mess
Where there isn’t any space

But you can rest assured old friend
No matter how it fares
It’s his domain and castle
Down to the worn out chairs

He proudly shows it to his mates
Who goo and gar and ask
What’s this and that you got in here
Including in the flask

There’s pictures stuck up on the wall
The likes that women scorn
But it wouldn’t be the same you see
Without his female porn

And if someone dare to take control
Woe betide the feathers fly
Until he once again can say
Don’t come in here and pry

When it’s why on this one fateful day
A hapless brown came in
And all that happened after that
Boy, you should have heard the din

Jo blake slipped here and he slipped there
To keep out of old mates way
But old mate was having none of that
As he entered in the fray

Things they went here and they went there
As the chase in-ten-si-fied
With old mate going hell for leather
To get that snake outside

Almost a full one hour had gone
And neither would give in
The snake kept just enough in front
To save it’s slippery skin

Until it spied a big wide space
That was in fact the door
And slipped out quick as anything
Away from that bloody floor

When old mate stopped and looked around
When the battle was complete
He couldn’t believe the mess there was
He was out to it on his feet

But satisfaction slowly grew
Sweat began to dis-si-pate
As he softly whispered to himself
I’ll not share with any snake

So, take heed all those who enter there
And know it’s in his head
He’ll do whatever it does take
To defend his bloody shed

Shed poetry :headbanger:
Brought a tear to my good eye.

Anyways happy new years again bud .

Happy new year Joe! It looks like you know what you're doing every winter :thumb:.
Your baby Gt 1 just didn't have enough roots to hold the bottom half of the solo cup. She'll be fine though. Steamroll on.
Thanks Kis! it still looked good this morning so I'm calling it smooth sailing :).

Nice when we share a sky Crazy! That GT1 was the one that was all curled up and I had to bend the cots back, so it had a rough start in life. It probably could have used another week before transplant but I wanted to get them all done at once.

I will probably drop three DDAs in a 7 gallon pot in late spring and see how they do. Maybe I'll get a bigger one like otter's!

You're a sucker for a good shed poem. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Even better when we know we share sky. :laughtwo:

I like doing stuff that way also! Better with a rough start than a rough ending... Also did a transplant today of Nightingale and Spliff.B. No pics though. Need to drop a few beans again to keep it rolling.

I'm certain it wasn't the last time we got to see DDA in this journal and I'm also pretty certain you will get next one bigger and bushy. :)

:thumb: Good luck, I'm smoking some DDA to coax the cosmos in your favor.
Man, I thought the tent mascot or crystal was gonna do it for me.....now this!

I cant remember whos journal was doing the crystals....Im doing it. I think you were there Shed, whos was it?

It was Magoo.
