I was a grower for more than twenty years but, in 1993 my brother-in-law introduced me to some folks who traded their freedom for mine (63 months). During those growing years, I must have grown around 10,000 plants (organically) in just about every way known. My favorite method was indoor but, there is something great to be said for turning one valve to irrigate a patch of 400 plants. The Feds have left a bitter taste in my mouth and since I promised my ol' lady that I wouldn't grow anymore until the kids are grown-up (5 more years), I've been spending a lot of my time trying to figure out how to grow food using the techniques I learned over the years.

I have recently written a 12 page proposal, explaining how to grow food year-round in a greenhouse, in cold climates. I've also met some folks who own a greenhouse that I can remodel. I've forgotten where I used to buy my growing supplies, and after looking at the outrageous prices on the Internet, I realize that I need some help trying to find out where the real wholesalers are located these days. I need 10-1000watt halides, 10-1000watt sodiums,
a couple of C02 generators w/digital monitors, 2 garage door openers to make light movers, greenhouse poly sheeting, organic soil ammendments and potting soil (bulk), electrical supplies (circuit breakers, sevice panels, wire, outlets), and probably a bunch of stuff that's slipped my mind.

I have access to a plastic welder, so I can make my own grow beds, tables, and shelves. I've been out of action for more than 12 years, so I would appreciate any advice on recent developments in the hi-tech growing methods. If anyone would like a copy of my proposal, send me your email address. Thanks in advance!!!!!

Peace,
kris

Well, it's probably easier to teach indoor pot growers to grow veggies, than to teach gardeners all about lights, C02, and climate control. How much experience do you have with organic growing? Once I've documented the system's viability, I'll need to hire a large number of workers (about 4 months after I begin the pilot project). You'll have to grow your own on the side, the Feds figure I got off easy and would just love to hang 15 years on my ass.

peace,
kris
