Increasing my lighting

hi I'm currently running a 600w fan cooled lamp in my tent approx 5x5 with 5 plants at veg stage and there looking happy and I was thinking of increasing my lights but should I add come cfls or Say 450w led panel as seen one on eBay 10band full spec

hi ' cfl not the best choice for 5x5 even with the 600W youll need at least 600 more of cfl watts, and you still get shit yield and buds go or another hps 600 or led 300 and up hope its halp you

If you like your HID lighting, Sell your 600 and upgrade it to a double ended 1000 and get a reflector that can spread it evenly as possible. Growershouse has some good data on reflectors.
The panal your talking about buying is not near as good as a HPS.

Thats if ya want big fat buds....

h added 2 x 125w cfl bulbs yesterday and got them hanging low so light gets into lower foliage- the shop I got them of sent me a a flower and a veg light and there goign to send me a replacement for the veg as I ordered 2 x red bulbs
will it do any harm havign the veg light on along with the veg lights in flower stage? ???

no harm--- as a matter of fact the blue spectrum is needed to build more trichomes.

it should help a bit but not much, CFL is not strong enough to form buds properly

What the big advantage of cfl as loads rave about havign them

ummm, there is no advantage, they are good for cloning, micro grow and used as side lighting but that's it.

they are low heat but low heat isn't everything for growing big sticky buds
