EACH more weird than the last.

All of these seeds were the same batch gsc auto. Sprouted in paper towels, moistened (8.5ph well water) and left 24hrs on Internet router (heat). After 24 hrs they all had 1/2 to 3/4 taproot. Planted in solo, recycled dirty. :)

After 5 solid days in solo under 9w ge led plant bulb, they were transplanted to permanent homes.

You will notice #1-3 are rocking the geopots 3gal. All the others have 5gal!

The plants look slightly deficient, probably because of the depleted soil, the low dose lighting, and the fact it was 61f while they have been alive. :/

Now that they are home we should see a radical change! Choo cho000o

Germination - Wet towel,
11/26/22 ziplock 80f 40h

Pop date - Nice 3/4 inch
11/27/22 Taproot

Sprouts in solo - 9w ge bulb
11/28/22

Final home w/ @GeoFlora Nutrients ,
12/5/22 and @VIVOSUN

The pest. Grrr

So after lots of reading. I stopped.
Im going old school. Brought in the neem, touch of dawn soap, and good ol high ph water. One by one they got a drench top, bottom, sides, top layer of soil. After the shower, the tent was vacuumed, wiped down, and sprayed with with neem solution also. Plants in light off for a few hours. Also sprayed the tomatoes plants in garage that have been strung along

If you notice I've also set some traps, some molasses, and vinegar/dawn. See if we can collect any other pest that might have been poking around.

Hey OgPapa I read in the past that you were going to use the Bill method and was wondering where you got your bokashi + frass. Thanks CL🍀

I was very intrigued by @Bill284 method. We have had severe supply chain issues locally. Lost the only grow shop in town also. Now I have 50-70mile drive to get decent products. That's why I have been experimenting with recycled soil. I found a grow shop about 60miles away. Selling bags of happy frog for 50$, FML.

So I had tried to refresh what I had, adding in some additional fresh happy frog, perlite, dynomyco, geoflora, and previous stems stalks and roots.

Hopefully by spring I will have my hands on some more elite materials. But for now, if the baby Lowe's in town don't have it. It's on to Wally world or planet bezos.

Which I hate both equally

Yeah unfortunately that frass Bill recommended is in Canada and I emailed them about shipping here but got no response. And the bokashi I couldn’t find on zon. I have two half bags of FFHF + FFOF and I ordered the perlite on zon. Now I’m thinking about making Sips. Idk? CL🍀

Me too.
Exact same situation.
Hour each way to get materials.
Happy Frog $ 75.00 plus tax, over $80.00 out the door.
Canadian tire had some supplies in the spring, thankfully.
Made my own soil.
But my method was originally used in coco.
So that's what I prefer.
Fast incredible growth.
Huge healthy plants every time.
I could cut clones and have 2' tall girls ready for flower in 4 weeks.
Good luck with supplies.
I get it.

I haven't ventured down the coco road yet. I thought my prices were high!

I've got some Amish not far up the road. I'm going to see if I can get some soil from their farm in the spring. Other than I that, I have a buddy in oregon, and one in Oklahoma. They both said when they head up this way, they will load up and deliver. Can't beat that.

Oh brother. Thats how I get every harvest time. All the extra anxiety from starting a new run. I always try to leave my skeleton tricks in the closet. That's what I love about @420 everyone has some different tricks.

Oh Canada, hard to ship, harder to receive. I respect them. No other country has more restrictions, other than maybe Australia.
Good luck with finding your items. I feel like zon supplies trash. I question every purchase. I hate that feeling. You ever go by a landscaping place? They might be able to help you source some items as well. I have one that popped up about 5miles up the road, not open yet. But I have my fingers crossed. Just a lil ma and pa shop.

I found Bill’s bokashi but it’s 30 bucks. CL🍀

Some more surprises! Yay I love mail!

Ran short of digital hydrometer, new additions came in!

I have also stepped into the future as many other users on @420

Wireless tent monitoring. For all life's up and downs. BwhahahahahahHa

The govee was recommended and cheap. The user interface looks good. I'm excited.
