I'm wondering if I should harvest one

I have 2 plants. Maui Wowie. All of the growing parameters are correct. I do believe I stressed both plants by not feeding them. MW has a 9-11 week flower time, which is my first question. 1. Does flower time start once light is switched to 12/12 or does it start from seed? I've read that it starts at 12/12 but I want to be sure.
If the 12/12 is correct, then I'm only in week six of flower. On one plant the pistils have turned brown and I'm getting a lot of amber trichs. They aren't dark but they are there. I still have at least one white pistil on each bud.
Do you think I should harvest this one? The other one is fine.

Beautiful ladies.
If all the pistols have turned red and crinkled in she is finished flowering and can be harvested depending on the tric's.
So if pistols are red the amber trics in the pic tell me she can be harvested.
I start my count from the day I flip my lights to 12/12 pistols usually appear with in 3-4 days.
But I don't go by seed company times for flowering.
Pistols trics and look of buds determine my harvest time.

Flower time for me happens 7-10 days after the flip to 12/12. It does NOT include the veg time before that. By delaying my counting of flower time till after flowering actually starts, and not the moment I switch to 12/12, I find that my plants pretty much always finish exactly when the seed houses say they will.

absolutely not. You signed up for a 14 week plant and now you need to follow up with it. Halfway through you have nothing... I would not smoke it. Be patient and wait till she is done.
