If ya got a min help with yo-yo hangers

hey guys i just got a new i-power 400watt super hps with dimmable ballast,batwing reflector kit it came with a pair of yo-yo hangers i see how they attach i think but how do they work i cant seem to get them to lock/stick they just want to recoil all the way, does anyone have a piC of these things in action i recived nothing in the kit on these gadgets and i have never seen them before! lol

It depends on the yo-yo, but most you can tighten, and you have to un tighten before you adjust also. Some have a click lock too. Depends on the type.

I know all of my hangers like that retract if there isn't any weight on it even with the wing nut fully tightened. the weight of the reflector helps keep it in place.

I got a light kit also came with the same kind of yo-yo's. I shitcanned them went with a little pully system works great. If I want to raise my light or lower it. It's fast and easy.I'm growing in an 8x8x8 me personally think I need to be just a little bigger.I went with a umbrella style hood, I was a little skeptical about it but it works great. I put some exstentions on it so it's about 52 inches insteed of 42 inches.They also work great here's some pics I will post pics of my room if you want you can get some ideas or what ever
