Since Montana's legalization of medical marijuana, the industry has faced several litigation challenges, which will place restrictions on various aspects of the trade.

Most recently, on Feb. 25, the Montana Supreme Court approved a restriction that will limit the number of patients a medical marijuana provider may treat to three. Those in the medical marijuana industry, both patients and providers, say this will leave people without access to the plant, a medication they say mitigates their pain.

This seems ridiculous. Many of the conditions marijuana help with are gotten with age usually. So a doctor whose practise caters to older citizens, ex. geriatrics. would have hundreds of patients with qualifying medical conditions, But after the change only three patients can be assisted. I get it, the law is aimed at mills that just approve anyone. Does not change the fallout. The pediatric nuerologist that treats severe epilepsy, hope that specialist only has three patients with that condition. Has the legislature ever thought, (lmao), that a limited number of doctors are unafraid to treat using marijuana and that is why they see a lg number of scripts from some docs!
