Depends on where you are... here in euro land, 220v wall curent they sell these as oscillating and non... VERY easy height adjustable. made for tent poles 16-23mm i believe..

or:

Buy one of these thingys and attach it with a wood/sheetmetal (self tapping) screw to your fan. They come in varying 'strength'... or just use a 'normal' C-Clamp.. also varying sizes (lengths/colours/bla bla bla...)
Mounty

Don’t know if you have solved your problem or not. My idea would also be using a piece of wood that will either a) handle the fan clamping onto or b) have the fan secured down by screws/plastic ties to the wood. Take the wood and use ratcheting ropes on the 2 ends to make your adjustments. Could either have them simple wrap around 2 ends of the wood or drill a hole big enough to fit the ratchet rope through and then attach around the rope itself to secure itself.

I have a floor standing oscillating fan that started on the floor but now sites sideways on the side of my 4x4 tent right wall. As you can see from my old dual Viparspectra setup I can adjust with the ratchet ropes up and down. Doesn’t oscillate because of the setup, but the fan pretty much covers it all.

well now i use one pole in the four corners
i made a piece of wood and a screw with some hanging clip but the issue is the weight of the fan make the piece of wood on a bad angle,
ill look into your idea i have tower fan available around ill check it thanks @EhCndGrower
ill go check your journal your setup look similar you use 2 v600?

That was my old setup which I swapped out for a Quantum Board about midway into the flower cycle. But the fan is still there

man every one is ditching their vipar mid flowering, i feel like i did the wrong choice -_-

It was sadly my first grow too. I just kept reading great things about them and kind of got that bee stuck in my bonnet. Plus I still needed more light for my plants in that final stage as I tried 8 plants back then too. My goal though is to get a 2nd tent and use them as my vegging lights. Did great I though during veg because they weren’t so big and the added blue spectrum worked nicely too.

This was the final result
I use a yoyo hanger allow me to adjust the height
And i removed the base of the clamp so i take less space
special thx to : @EhCndGrower
