I need help on how to germinate seeds and growing indoors

i need help on how to grow and puck out good seeds and does the age matter of the seeds or do thay need to be fresh or can thay be like 2-3 mounths old answer if yah know

they can be 2-3 months old. just plant directly into soil. put a pencil in like 1/4 inch then put the seed pointy end up and cover it with soil loosely packed. or get some paper towels and put the seeds in the middle of two moist ones and put it in a ziplock bag. place in a warm dark place and then you will see them germ
