so those 2 little white hairs are they the same as what ends up covering the bud...like the one with all the white hairs are those just multiples of the same 2 in the top pic?

Si senor, the green tear drop that the hairs are coming out of is the calyx which is what most of the mass of the bud is made from and the hairs are pistils which change color and turn brown or red when the buds are ripe.
