I'm looking for anyone who has knowledge, of what specific types of plastics [if any]are known to be compatible with beneficial microorganisms used in plant propagation ? I know that plastics containing BPA,PVC,and Phthalates, have all been found to not only off-gas health compromising byproducts when used in conjunction with food storage, but destroy beneficial microorganisms environmentally as well as in the human body. I have recently learned, that"silicone bisphenola" is a material that will not release any of these contaminates, and does not chemically react with organic chemistry and or water, releasing zero threatening byproducts.
Thanks
