Hydro stores... do you frequent them?

i just found out there is a hydro store blocks from my house. so here is the question on my mind. Is this too close to home? I live in a small(ish) town just out side a larger town and dispute our 5 min drive into the 'big city' people like to know each other and are very friendly. my problem is I drive a very recognizable car and i live a block from the town hall, I am afraid that since the cops have to drive by my car every day and they definitely know it, that maybe driving it the local hydro store and loading up might be way to obvious. or am i just being paranoid???

Ok so i spent most of the day pondering this. By being paranoid I am admitting that what i am planning on doing is wrong, the paranoia stems from wanting to hide my activities. i want to hide my activities because society has shamed them. how ever since the store exists there is potential for legitimate use, in fact i know there are! I will not hide in the dark. infact i went down there today to check it out. it was awesome, i cant wait till i get started...

Build a system for show and one for grow.

I don't worry in the least about going to the hydro shops because we, in fact, grow lots of veggies using hydro systems. Our most successful is a lettuce float that produces far more than two of us can consume in a month's time. If you live in a cold climate, it's just that much easier to use the hydro stores. I found myself talking about netted pots with somebody's grandma the other day in a hydro store. Pretty sure she wasn't growing any chronic at home, but guess you can never judge a book by its cover, right?

Just another gardening center IMO. Nothing to worry about or be ashamed of. Personally, I feel more secure making the transaction in person than I do ordering materials online. Course, I live in a legal MM state and that probably helps ease the paranoia of hydro visits. But still, there is plenty of very boring growing going on using hydro. Only 'heads' think hydro is just for MaryJane. Most people don't make that assumption straight out of the gates in my experience.
