HPS HID lamp

ok so i was searching on google and well i thought that these were some big setup fixtures but i came across something called "HID Lamp Holder High Pressure Sodium Light Socket". i just want to make sure if i get that socket if i can just buy a bulb to go with it and am i good to go? it sounds dumb but please just clear this up for.

Sockets aren't HPS or MH, that I have ever saw.

Not sure what you mean.
Is it a reflector with a socket?

The base size is what you want to look at.
Medium or large base.

yea but i thought that was used for veg?

you want a reflection too with that. Those come in different sizes.Make sure you get the right size for you bulb

Yes they are.
The only difference between the 2 is the ignitor, not the base.
