How's this veg doing?

I haven't grown anything but autos until this baby, just not sure what to do here. When do I know to switch the lights? Help?

Good morning @Leotattoo420 hope you are well my friend.
Beautiful lady. :thumb:
General rule of thumb is she will double in size when flipped.
So how far away is your light?
If she doubles now will she hit the light , you want a buffer don't forget.
She is bushy.
I'd remove thick lower growth not getting light.
Let in some air circulation.
Then I'd tie open the top branches to spread her out.
So you can flip her now, she is plenty big.
Or wait until she is just under half way and do it then.
Make sure she doesn't get any light at all during her rest period.
It's very important.

Stay safe

She looks good and health congrats on the grow. Haven’t been around for a little as been busy with Covid through the house.. I agree with bill trim the lower stuff and open it up some for air circulation, tie the branches down and open her up is another great option from bill will do wonders for her. This cherry pie was tied down and shaped to get more even canopy of growth. I need to defoliate the lowers again on her and she’s next in line to go the flower room

The plant sure is growing really well. Nice looking plant.

The lights can be switched to a 12/12 cycle and the plant will flower if it is sexually mature. Generally the theory is that when the new nodes are staggered. The first several nodes after the seed germinates are opposite each other. Then as it gets older the nodes are starting to stagger. That seems to be where you are now.

I believe that @Bill284 mentioned in his reply on the other thread about doing some trimming and leaf removal in order to open up the area of the lower canopy. Doing it before making the light switch will help with bud development within a few weeks after they start forming.

:Namaste:Thanks. Do I need a bigger pot? That one is 5 gallons.
Can(should)I drop a horizontal trestle or whatever you call it.

I have t checked the light but it's about 30-36 inches.
Hello @Leotattoo420 hope your having a good day.
I'm trying to remember your pic.
You should start one thread in journals in progress and put everything there, so we aren't all over the place. :Namaste:

So I think from your pic I saw this morning a trellis or scrog it's also called would benefit you.
You have a thick bushy girl and spreading her out would improve your harvest.
It can add some time to your veg to get her spread out completely.
Or just drop it and flip then spread her.
Generally a 5 gal pot is a good size to flower in.
I would not worry about uppotting her.
Here is a link my friend, get a journal going so your consolidated :thumb:
Stay safe
