how much cfm?

I was trien to find info on the same thing found this,

"To determine the fan capacity you need, figure the volume of the rooms you intend to cool. For example,
if you want to cool an area 30 x 40 feet having a ceiling height of 8 feet, the volume will be 30 x 40 x 8 = 9,600 cubic feet.
You will need a fan that will exhaust at least 9,600 CFM."

so 350 cfm would do you just about rite. Peace :allgood:

to replace the air every 5 minutes you would need a 60 cfm fan. Is this fan just for bringing in fresh air? Or is it to ventilate a HID light?

this is for ventilate i have a 1000w hps. with the door cracked open it will stay around 80 to 85, but i'd like to keep it down a little more.. i have a little fan out of a funis (sp) it not the blower fan its the other small one for the carbinoxside (sp) i don't really know how to explain it. lol i hope u know what i.m talking about..
