How many cuttings can I take from this plant without hurting the plant too much?

The below picture is a generic picture pulled from google images but I'm just trying to get a rough idea how many cuttings I can take from my own plants by using the plant in the picture as a reference.

So just so I have a rough idea, how many cuttings could I take from this plant without hurting her or effecting yield too much? (My own plants will be 8 weeks old when cuttings are taken and will be vegging for another 5 - 6 weeks after that)

I'd take a couple for back-up and get them going, then discard the mother or..... if I wanted a lot of clones, i'd take as many as the mom would give since there would be a few back-up mothers in progress and the original mother would then be flowered or discarded.

Mine is an outdoor grow and what I'm trying to do is maximize yield by taking cuttings from the mothers without hurting the mothers and growing those out as well.

I guess it is a question of what you mean by hurt. I usually just take off the lower branches I would have removed anyway and clone those. I'd prolly stick with never take more than 1/3ish of the plant at any one time, for fear of shocking it into just giving up.
Alright, I'll remove the lower branches and clone those, and since I'm topping I'll use the top as a clone as well, and I'll take cuttings from the back of the plants that don't face the sun and don't grow any buds anyway so I might as well clone those as well. But I'll be sure not to remove more than 1/3rd. 👍

I'm into trying different things, I'll do that with a few plants and see how that goes.
Since you are into trying something different then select one of two of the mother plants and take more than 1/3 off. Then let the mother keep going and growing.

There is a good chance that those mothers with more than a 1/3 taken off will end up being close to the same size and production as one of the plants that had less than 1/3 removed as long as they are grown under the same conditions.

I've got the numbers to experiment with, I'll do that to a few plants.
