how long to hang?

hello all. i just got done trimming my bud.. my q's is how long do i let it hang? how will i know it's ready to smoke? need help bad.. thanks.. p.s. i have it hanging in a basement closet with a heater and a fan.. temp in the room is about 80 the humid is 60%.. thanks all

I wouldn't of had the heater going but you hang them tell the stems snaps. That's when it is time to put them in jars and finishing curing by opening the lid for a few hours a day to allow fresh air in.

No prob..Id just say room temp unless your room is really cold. But yeah once then stems snaps time for curing and possibly time for smoking.

Anything airtight should do.

Only problem with reusing jars is them taking on the flavor of whatever was in there. NEVER USE PICKLE JARS. lol

After about 3 days to a week of drying at room temperture in an area with good air circulation the buds should be moved to clean jars for curing. This can take up to a month and it is best to remove the lids to once and a while to allow air in and the gasses to escape from inside. Only after curing properly will they will be ready to smoke.
