How long to get marijuana out of hair?

I just got this job for now, it only required urine test.

I was a frequent smoker about 6 joints/day and was wondering how long before I could start applying to some better paying jobs that require hair tests. I don't want to even attempt to go in and not pass.

So how long does it take to get our. Any tips such as shaving my head will get rid of the toxins in there? Or that doesn't work?

I plan on working at this job until I am able to get cleaned fully. Thanks for the help.

Is there home hair tests that I can test myself before actually getting the real one?
