How long after you put the bud in jars do you put the Boveda in it?

I have 32oz wide mouth mason jars that I plan to put dried bud in with a boveda 8g 62% rh pack in with a small hygrometer in it. Do you put the boveda in the jar the day you put the bud in or do you wait to do it?

When you get the jar down to around you 62% humidity that's when you put it in the jar.

Thanks. Do you know of any reason not to put it in the jar with the buds right when you put the buds in the jar on there?

You don't need them in the jar until you get close to your target RH.

This. Those packs are way better out of the package at raising than lowering. Kind of a waste to put them in before you hit 63% or there about.
