Varies slightly on the light but LED usually around 2' in Veg and 15" range in Flower, so seedlings I'm usually 30"+ area. If they don't like it move up slightly or if too much stretch come down a bit, as sounds like you been growing long enough to be able to tell when they like/dislike height of light.
If your led has an adjustable intensity I'd start seedlings at 1/4 light output and place light about 24-30" above them. If your LED is non-adjustable I'd use a CFL light about 12-15" away for a couple weeks then switch to your LED keeping it 36-40" above the plants.
I think all seedlings are a little different in the amount of light they can handle so observe the leaves carefully, leaves bending down or curling could indicate the light is too strong.
