Well I was diagnosed with glaucoma at around age 9 which is extremely rare, I've been taking various drops to try and lower the pressure since. I also began to have intense glaucoma migraines. I started smoking weed at 14 and when I did I'm not gonna lie I REALLY enjoyed it. At first the effect was slow because I only smoked it weekly or every other week but my eye pressure started to fall from around 30 to about 27 and the glaucoma migraines slowed down and were only happening every month or so. When I began smoking it daily the effects were startling, my pressure went from 26-28 down to 20 and the migraines are almost a thing of the past now. I feel that marijuana helped me a lot and would like to be legal with it.
My question is, how do I prove that I have glaucoma to the doctor? I have prescriptions for timoptic and stuff, would that be enough? or would I need like a letter from my glaucoma specialist?
