How accurate are the cheaper pH meters?

Hello all, Just wondering in everyone's experience , how accurate are the cheaper ph meters you buy off Amazon? I plan on buying a higher end meter down the road but for first time growing I wanted to get by on the cheap. I am just raising some mother plants to clone for a outdoor grow. I don't like having to mix up the packets to calibrate but maybe all ph meters are like that? as always thanks for your input.

Some of the are pretty good. I was using them until Amazon sent me the wrong one twice in a row. Look for the ones with a 0.05pH accuracy and 0.01pH resolution. I check the calibration of my meters before each use with GroTek's pH Buffer #7.
