Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

The results aren't quick. It's a good way for the younger generation to learn a little patience.

I find it a lot easier to be patient on my second grow with a bunch of full mason jars.

Hey NOOOOOBIENOT; welcome aboard. Amazing how many Ontarians hang out in these parts. Glad you like my plants. I am not really looking to do any trading but I am sure you will find someone who would be on here somewhere. :thumb:

...If I was still working and had more money than time I could definitely see going that route especially if I needed a lot of quantity but being retired I have more time than money and I don’t need much quantity so I am going a different route.

Hey, that's me to a tee. Way more time than money, lol. Maybe I need a little more cannabis than you, we use about 30gm/month and would use more if we could afford it - oils, tinctures etc. 2oz./month should be plenty. So I will be watching your grow with great interest.

Are there smaller packages of Mega Crop? The ones I can find are about $100 each.

Hey Hutch Benedict; welcome aboard. I think you should be able to get your 2 oz a month quota and then some because using the system I have I was able to get 9.7 ounces with my 600W LED light with a 10-12 week bud cycle so that is close to one ounce a week.

But that is hoping my 2 plants can produce as much as four used to if I have a longer veg to make them bigger before budding. And with my second light being used for veg as soon as one crop is finished budding I should be able to put another right under the bud light as soon as the previous one finishes so I should get a new crop every 10-12 weeks.

Yes there are Mega Crop packages as small as 300grams. The one you are referring to must be the 9.9kg or 21.7lb bag. Right now they are offering a 300gram bag for free on their website which is normally $7.00 US. I don’t know what country you are in but being in Canada I bought my last batch from Amazon.ca but I paid 13.85 Canadian for the 300 g size.

I suspect buying from the US directly from Mega Crop may be cheaper but I have to do some investigating on delivery charges.

If you are in the States it is also on Amazon.com

Thanks for the link, it's now on my Amazon wish list for next order. Yep, I'm Canadian as well, Vancouver. I'd never grown before so when I heard the legal limit was going to be 4 plants I thought that was crazy. Now that I've got three plants growing I can see that's plenty for a small household. I'll be going down to 2 plants for next grow.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for dropping the link in my thread! I'll go back and start at the beginning :).
Hey, Shed; glad to have you along for the ride. Thanks for stopping by. :thumb::party::cheesygrinsmiley:

Day 40

It is pretty amazing how quickly they grow at this stage; in the morning I can definitely see the difference. I did a little retucking of my branches and that is about it.

White Widow from seed.

I am keeping a close eye on my temps and humidity. This is a great unit because it keeps track of the highs and lows so I know what range I am in. I am in the zone with my humidity lately without any adjustment but once the warmer weather gets here I will be turning on my dehumidifier.

My budding plants have another two weeks to go probably before harvest at which time I will be putting these plants in the budding room to replace the ones there now but I am afraid they will not be quite as big as I want because they will be just 2 plants under a 600W LED so next generation I may start earlier as I waited a few weeks before I started this generation after I put the last in the bud room.

Basement should be more stable for sure.

I always figured that but I was afraid the stink would be overwhelming having them so close but it isn't bad at all and actually is kind of pleasant.

Not a lot happening in the garden tonight but the girls are looking pretty happy. At this stage, I start really drying them out between waterings to get those roots growing. I am going to wait until I see some wilt.

I know some or most people hate these water meters but I find them helpful... :sorry: :nerd-with-glasses:
