Welcome to my first grow journal! First things first- I want to mention that this grow is a completely LEGAL grow in full compliance with California Prop. 215. Okay; I'm done rubbing it in:grinjoint:

Specs-
Grow Space- 50"x24"x50"
Lighting- 48" 6 bulb T5 30,000 total lumens
Strain- FLO by DJ Short
Medium-Soil (Fox Farms Ocean Forest)
Nutes- Roots Organics

I just completed my grow cab slash firewood storage cabinet! I needed both and I figured that the firewood would make it appear more like a standard utility cabinet. I began germinating 10 seeds 3 days ago and 7 of the 10 are already planted and showing leaves. I plan on flowing them early so I can weed out the males and clone the best female. After that the plan is too set up a Scrog with 2 or 3 plants to maximize my yield in this small area.

Here is a pic of the cab from the outside:

Don't worry! I fixed the crooked light.

Fire away if you have any questions or reccomendations. Otherwise, I hope you will check in from time to time and check on my progress.

Thanks for checking in. I have plenty of ventilation. There are 4 intake holes in the bottom the cab and two 64cfm PC exhaust fans at the top. I will add a small fan in the cab for circulation when they are done sprouting a bit more. I doesn't look like it in the pics, but there is enough room around the light for air to travel up.

Take care!

Very nice setup! This is a great stealth cabinet that could be placed in a garage without anyone thinking twice about it. Do you have any moulding on the doors to eliminate light leaks? I can't wait to see some nugget shots :nicethread:

Thanks! The cab is completely light proof. The fans are near silent as well, so I think that it's about as stealth as I could get. I can't wait to see some nugs either!

All the palnts are about the same stage right now, except one. It is about twice as tall as the others and has not even shed it's shell yet. It's pretty funny looking.

I stuck them in a wet paper towel on Monday and this is how they look already!

Thanks FlyFish! I'll get some more pics posted in a couple of days. I am rally happy how the cab turned out. So far, so good. My temps are a steady 79f in the day and about 75 at night.

Hey again,

It's been a few days since I've updated, so I thought that I would throw up a couple of pics. This is day 10 since the begining of germination. All 10 plants apear to be healthy. How do they look to you? Does their growth look on par?
I was also wondering if there are any concerns with my temp. or humidity?

Thanks for checking in, and for any input. Oh, and for reference, the plants are in 16oz. party cups.:peace:

thats a pretty good temp for rooting, the humidity could be a touch higher but as long as the plants like it its a good level to keep away molds. Looking good man!

Thanks Fly Fish! I take it from your screen name you are a fly fisherman? I have been fly fishing since I was a kid. I started with an old Fenwick fiberglass fly rod! Great sport.

Help! I re-potted my plants tonight to larger pots. Althought the pots are bigger I had to lower the light because I had the seedlings on top of buckets before. It must be because of the proximity of the light to the fan, but my temp dropped 11 degrees and my humidity went up 20 percent. I am now at 70 degrees and 60% humidity. How bad is this??

Hi There,

Things seem to be going well. With the exception of 1 plant, all of them are about the same size. The one is a bout half of the size as the others. Here are a couple pics of the progress. I think that I am going to start flowerin them in a week or so. Remember, the porpose of this grow is to weed out the males and produce some female clones. I am sure the yield will be very small, but hopefully, I will have anumber of females, so I might get a bit to toke on during my "real" grow from the clones.

These are at 16 days from seed-

Thanks for checking in!

Hey again! How important is it to have a fan blowing on the plants? I have plenty on air circulation, but it's not enough to make the plants move at all. Is it important to aggitate the plants for stem strength? I don't really have the room for one in my closet, so i am wondering how much it will affect my plants.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info guys. I will definitely get that fa worked out. One more question if I can, in the last pic on this post you can see that a of the leaves are starting to curl up a bit. Any ideas here? I am having trouble trying to keep the cab warm enough right now. At night it's about 60 degrees and in the day it's about 70 degrees. Here are some pics at day 18
