Hippie's Mixed Grow

Hi all! Been away for a while, but back at it for another go. My setup is a 4x4 Mars setup with 1200w Mars LED. Growing in soil, Happy Frog, 5 gallon pots. Started with 5 Fastbuds GSC and 2 Humbolt Blue Dream. 4/5 and 1/2 popped. At this point only one has broken the soil. I added two seeds from a plant that I grew last summer, they popped and are just poking thru. They are mystery seeds tho. They came from a Fastbuds Green Crack that-was supposed to be an auto, yet ran all summer, so I’m not sure what I will get there.

It’s very slow going. Of the original 5 that germinated, only one has broken the surface, which is disappointing. The Mystery seeds however are both up. Gonna give the others a few more days before replacing with something else.

So, the original beans have been in the ground a week now and still only one popped thru. I’m going to germinate a few more of the mystery seeds and replace them. I’m a bit disappointed int the fastbuds seeds. This is the third time I’ve tried them and will be the last. Definitely not great outdoors so I thought I’d try in the tent. Even the one that is up seems weak, and barely holding on. Definitely not thriving as it should. That said, the mystery seeds all popped thru the soul day after planting. The catch is, they have Fastbuds genetics. The mother was a green crack from them that ran photo instead and I’m assuming self germinated. Was great smoke and I saved the seeds. Hopefully they don’t Herm on me halfway thru...

This is where I currently stand. All but one of the GSC are gone, excepting the center plant, which should be twice the size or more by now. The others are (5) of my Green Crack seeds (TGC) and (1) Acupulco Gold. (AG) The weak auto flower will be disposed of and replaced if something doesn’t change with it soon. Update in a few days...

Hi folks, been a week and everyone has finally arrive for the show. I kept the GSC as it finally stood up and started to grow. I have low expectations considering it’s 3-4 weeks old and only a few inches tall. The AG is cranking and definitely the heartiest I’m the group. GC’s are right behind. Also had 2 Afghan Mass beans that I just popped in as well.

So, what a difference a week makes. Everything is vegging at this point short of the Afghan mass. Which is on the verge. The AG is definitely the most advanced despite ring a week behind the first TGC.Center pot is the GSC auto? Nit sure what hat to expect there. Was the first one to pop, but very weak to start.

Yes, was a slow start, but they’re chugging along nicely now. All have different start dates, but less than 2 weeks apart. Gonna top soon

Another week down and finally all growing well. The GSC shows no sign of flowering and I believe she will be like the GC from last summer. She is in the middle. Only one of 5 to survive and it was a struggle just like the GC. Thriving now tho.

I did some defoliation on all the girls today. Some LST on the gold, which is surpassing the rest. The TGC is very short and stout. First Nutes early next week.... the GSC has finally taken hold, she is in the middle. Supposed to be an auto, but by now should be showing some sign of preflower but nothing...

So, here they are at approximately 6 weeks. I opened the tent earlier this week and one of the mystery seeds had a handful of male flowers dangling off of her so it went into the wood stove. The others appear to be doing well, but with the uncertain genetics, I have decided to go 12/12 on 4/1 and see what I get. I have fresh genetics coming soon. Ordered some GDP for the outdoor garden, and some wedding cake for the tent.

Took another male out of the tent yesterday, rest look to all be ladies...The Acupulco Gold was flowering before I went 12/12, I’m guessing it was somehow crossed with auto genetics in the outdoor garden last year. The stretch is definitely on and can’t wait to see what happens. Will post a pic once the lights are on.

20 days in...
